Graves Announces $13.3 Million in Transportation and Health Grants to Louisiana's 6th Congressional District

U.S. Congressman Garret Graves (South Louisiana) announced $13,307,605 through six grants in Louisiana's 6th Congressional District.

Louisiana State University (LSU) will receive $2,632,700 from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) for the Transportation Consortium of Southcentral States, which is authorized in the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act (FAST Act). The program is composed of several consortium members, including LSU and Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC), and the research priority is to improve the durability and extending the life of transportation infrastructure.
