The teachers of Louisiana's 6th Congressional District are invited to apply for our Legis-Educator Teacher Appreciation & Professional Development Program!

Louisiana's greatest asset is our future generation, and educators are the key to unlocking our children's potential. This appreciation and development program is meant to give a teacher in our community the opportunity to experience and contribute to our district's legislative process firsthand. With unique enrichment opportunities in Congressman Graves' office, the U.S. House of Representatives, and Washington, D.C., we hope this program offers one of our community's educators further opportunities for growth and advancement to help create the next generation of leaders.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Reside in Louisiana's 6th Congressional District
Employed full-time as a classroom teacher who provides daily instruction to elementary, middle, or high school students
