The Corps of Engineers continues to make progress on the Comite Diversion.
Some highlights:
- 50% of the work is done on the combined US 61 + KCS project
- Lilly Bayou Control Structure Repair - Dewatering is complete. Vegetation removal is underway and grout injection will begin mid-February 2022
- Channel Segment 4 – approximately between McHugh Rd. and LA 67 - 520,000 of 655,000 cubic yards has been excavated
- White Bayou Rock Chute - Clearing and grubbing is complete
