Graves Announces $16.6 Million in Hurricane Ida FEMA Funds

Washington, DC, March 31, 2022

U.S. Congressman Garret Graves announced today that $16,664,881.40 in federal funding, as a result of Hurricane Ida, is headed to south Louisiana from FEMA.

To Establish Temporary School Facilities:

  • RECIPIENT: Terrebonne Parish School Board
  • FEMA SHARE: $11,606,725.80
  • TOTAL PROJECT COSTS: $12,896,362

Funding for Debris Removal:

  • RECIPIENT: St. John the Baptist Parish
  • FEMA SHARE: $5,058,155.57
  • TOTAL PROJECT COST: $5,620,172.86
