Graves Congratulates Catholic High and St. Jude on National Blue Ribbon Designation
BATON ROUGE, LA,
September 24, 2020
U.S. Congressman Garret Graves (South Louisiana) congratulates Catholic High School and St. Jude the Apostle School for receiving this year's National Blue Ribbon designation. The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. "This is a huge accomplishment by the teachers and administrators at Catholic High and St. Jude for reaching one of the nation's top school honors. It's reflective of their hard work and commitment to excellence and indicative that if we keep making the right investment in our children, then our families' and country's future can only be brighter. And a special shoutout to all the parents too who have bought into the mission and continued to make our local schools a great place to educate our youth," Graves said.
