Graves Issues Statement on DXC Technology Impact in Louisiana
Washington, DC,
November 13, 2017
Congressman Garret Graves (R-Baton Rouge) issued the following statement on the economic development announcement involving DXC Technology of Virginia setting up operations in New Orleans and creating 2,000 permanent high tech jobs. "Louisiana's rapidly growing technology industry adds DXC to a growing list of major IT wins that began in earnest over six years ago. Projects like CGI in Lafayette, GE Digital in New Orleans, IBM in Baton Rouge, CSRA in Bossier City, and the CenturyLink expansion in Monroe will further develop the next generation of workforce skilled in computer science and IT solutions. As the offspring of the former CSC company, both DXC and CSRA are the culmination of the recruiting efforts that began in 2013." |
