Congressman Garret Graves joined other memebers of Louisiana's Congressional Delegation and defended the right of Congress to invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak in a comment last week.

"The president is welcome to invite whomever he wishes to a meeting at the White House. Congress can invite whomever we wish for a joint session. The U.S. Constitution establishes separate but equal branches. This is a concept that the president struggles with." Graves said, "Ideally, the president and Congress would be on the same page in regard to the importance of our strategic relationship with Israel."
