WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Garret Graves (South Louisiana) announced East Baton Rouge, Lafourche and Livingston Parish Sheriff Offices are receiving a combined $94,261 from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to aid their efforts in preventing and controlling crime. Additionally, East Baton Rouge Parish is receiving $169,735 for law enforcement efforts.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Garret Graves (South Louisiana) announced Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office is receiving a $749,022 grant from the from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to aid their efforts in preventing and controlling crime. On September 24, 2020, Graves announced the East Baton Rouge, Ascension Parish and Livingston Parish Sheriff Offices were receiving a combined $222,190 from DOJ.

BATON ROUGE, LA – U.S. Congressman Garret Graves (South Louisiana) announced the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office will be reimbursed $2,242,377 in response to the 2016 Flood and emergency housing solution for Livingston Parish sheriff deputies. This grant is the result of an amendment Graves offered after the federal government proved they could not adequately, inexpensively or efficiently respond to the disaster.

BATON ROUGE, LA – U.S. Congressman Garret Graves (South Louisiana) announced the City of Baton Rouge is the recipient of a $150,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice to reduce crime and illegal drug trafficking. The grant is awarded through the FY 19 Gulf States Regional Law Enforcement Technology Training and Technical Assistance Initiative.
